Meet Daniel Jackson, a rising senior at Cordova High School whose talents extend beyond the sports arena. Daniel has been making waves as a first baseman in baseball for coach John Michael Knighton.
Daniel has also proven himself to be a remarkable student, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. When he’s not busy with his sports commitments, you might find him cracking open an algebra book, brushing up on his favorite subject. Daniel is also a proud member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club, and is dually-enrolled at Cordova High School and Bevill State Community College.
As he looks ahead to his graduation in May 2025, Daniel plans to pursue a degree in mathematics and hopes to play baseball at the collegiate level.
“I want to be a math teacher and maybe a coach too,” Daniel says.
Daniel is the son of Melton and Misty Jackson.
Congratulations, Daniel, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
