Talladega Clay Randolph Child Care Corp. is Hiring a Family Services Case Aide

A Family Case Aide performs services essential to strengthen the family’s ability to provide a safe, nurturing home environment for children in maintaining them in their own home or the home of relatives.

Tasks include arranging and supervising visits between children and their parents or relatives; assisting the case worker in arranging and providing needed services; providing parent education; conducting home visits; and/or, providing other similar services as outlined in the family’s Individualized Service Plan. Examples of other duties include coaching caregivers on domestic chores, supporting children’s educational success, transporting children to and from placements and appointments, providing pick up services for groceries, children’s medications, etc., assisting with applications for SSI, Medicaid, TANF, etc., assisting parents in locating suitable housing, remaining close contact with the case worker on any developments and with detailed reports, etc.

Candidates should have a current driver’s license, a good driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of liability and other auto insurance coverage.The minimum age is 21 and a high school diploma or GED is required. A minimum of 12 months of similar experience is required. A background check, reference check, and drug screen will be conducted. The pay rate is $15/hour and the work schedule is 40 hours a week. Hours are set to meet the needs of the cases and may include nights and weekends. This position will be working in Walker County.
