There’s a growing fitness trend in Jasper: instructor-led workout opportunities.
From strength training and cycling to Pilates and tap dancing, local businesses are offering guided fitness experiences that cater to beginners and experts alike.
If you’re looking for structure in your health and fitness routine this summer, check out Level 1 Fitness. This gym offers personal training based on bodybuilding principles taught by owner Randy Willcutt.
Each member receives a custom diet and exercise plan tailored to their specific goals. Plus, members enjoy 24/7 access to the whole gym facility. Level 1 is committed to helping you reach your highest fitness potential. To learn more, call 205-544-1623 or visit www.level1fitness24.com.
Jasper Wellness and Recovery may be new to the scene, but their stationary biking (also known as “spin”) classes are already gaining popularity.
“Cycling is something that was underserved in our community,” says Chris Webb, instructor and owner of Jasper Wellness and Recovery. “We’re looking to revamp it and bring it to Jasper as what you call ‘rhythm riding’ has come back in style.”

“The classes are so much fun to teach because of how much everyone gets into it. It’s so much more fun than working out by myself,” adds instructor Lia Beth Azbell.
With high-energy music and a strong sense of community, these classes are perfect for anyone ready to grab a friend and get moving. To view the schedule or sign up, download the Glofox app.
While Athletic Arts Center is best known for its youth dance and theater programs, it’s adding something new for adults this June: instructor-led Pilates, yoga, and tap dance classes.

“Movement classes for adults can bring joy, confidence, and community,” says Maria Ross Campsey, owner and instructor at Athletic Arts. “For me, working with adults is no different than working with children—it’s all about discovering individual potential. It’s a perfect opportunity to move, grow, and try something new.”
These classes provide an exciting opportunity to stay active while learning new skills in a supportive environment. For more details, visit Athletic Arts Center on Facebook or www.athleticartsctr.com.
This summer, find joy in movement at Athletic Arts Center, give spin a try at Jasper Wellness and Recovery, and train your body to its best at Level 1 Fitness. With so many great options right here in Jasper, there’s no better time to get moving! WL
