Bevill State Community College (BSCC) invites high school students and their guardians to attend its upcoming Dual Enrollment Parent Meetings. These sessions are open to all high school students—including homeschooled students—and will provide valuable information on eligibility requirements, available funding, and the academic and career advantages of dual enrollment.
The Dual Enrollment program at BSCC allows high school students to take college-level courses while earning high school and college credit simultaneously. Students can choose from academic transfer, health sciences, or career technical education pathways, helping them reduce the time and cost of earning a college degree.
“Bevill State Community College is committed to providing high school students with valuable opportunities through our Dual Enrollment programs. These meetings give parents, guardians, and students a chance to learn more about how dual enrollment can benefit their academic and career goals, as well as explore available funding options,” stated Dr. Joel Hagood, President of Bevill State Community College. “I encourage any family with a high school student to attend and discover how Bevill State can help them get a head start on their college coursework—whether through academic transfer, health sciences, or career technical education.”
