Long before Kamri Tittle became one of the most decorated athletes at Lynn High School, she was just a kid who couldn’t sit still.
If there was a ball around, she was chasing it, throwing it, or finding some way to turn it into a game.
“My parents asked if I wanted to play sports because I was always outside playing any type of ball,” Kamri says. “So, I started playing softball when I was five.”
Softball led to basketball, which led to volleyball when she reached middle school. By high school, she had added track to the mix, turning her into a four-sport athlete who thrives on competition.
Now a senior, Kamri has left her mark on every team she’s played for. She’s a defensive standout and ace server in volleyball, a clutch shooter and playmaker in basketball, a powerful hitter in softball, and a long jumper on the track.
The awards and stats tell one part of the story: All-State Honorable Mention in volleyball, multiple MVPs in basketball, and a .400 batting average in softball, to name a few, but Kamri’s impact goes far beyond the numbers.
Her leadership is what sets her apart. Whether she’s calling out a play, encouraging a teammate, or diving for a loose ball, she leads with energy and heart.
“I always try to encourage my teammates,” she says. “If someone makes a mistake, I remind them they’ve got this. Mistakes happen, but you can’t let one bad play affect the rest of the game.”
She pauses for a moment, emotions creeping into her voice. “I don’t know why I’m getting emotional,” she laughs. But it’s clear that Kamri cares deeply about the people she plays with, and that’s what makes her such an exceptional athlete.

Some of her favorite memories come from moments shared with her team. Her senior year volleyball season particularly stands out.
“We hosted the area tournament, won, and advanced to regionals for the first time in a long time,” she says. “That was such a great experience.”
If there’s one thing she’s learned through sports, it’s that perseverance pays off.
“Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and you have to push through challenges,” she says. “In basketball, we’ve had seasons where we struggled, but we kept working. This year, we’ve done really well, and that’s been rewarding.”
Balancing four sports with a 4.0 GPA and leadership roles in Beta Club, Key Club, and Student Government isn’t easy, but Kamri takes it all in stride.
“Sometimes it’s tough, but I always try to do my best in everything,” she says. “Keeping God first is really important to me. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without Him.”
As graduation nears, she hopes to continue playing at the next level, possibly starting out at Bevill State Community College and advancing to the University of Alabama. No matter where she ends up, her approach will remain the same: work hard, lift up those around her, and never back down from a challenge.
Her advice to younger athletes is simple, but it’s the philosophy that’s carried her this far.
“Always give 110% in everything you do, and keep God first.”
That’s exactly what Kamri Tittle has done, and it’s why her name won’t soon be forgotten at Lynn High School. WL
