- Hope for Women’s Festival of Lights Tree Lighting Ceremony

- Details: Enjoy Christmas music, hot chocolate, and photos with Santa during this beloved annual tree lighting ceremony.
- Bevill State Music Department’s Annual Christmas Concert
- Time: 6 p.m.
- Location: Thornton Music Chapel, Bevill State Community College – Jasper Campus, 1411 Indiana Avenue, Jasper, AL 35501
- Details: Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with a beautiful concert featuring the Bevill State Music Department.
- Festival of Lights Tree Lighting Event
- Time: 6:30 p.m.
- Location: Carbon Hill High School, 217 Bulldog Boulevard, Carbon Hill, AL 35549
- Details: Gather for a community tree lighting to kick off the season with festive cheer.
December 3
- Walker County Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Parade
- Time: Parade begins at 6:30 p.m.
- Route: Viking Drive/19th Street, Downtown Jasper
- Pre-Parade Event: Santa Claus will greet children, distribute candy and books, and hear gift requests at the Jasper Civic Center starting at 3:30 p.m. (204 19th Street East, Jasper, AL 35501).
December 5
- Town of Oakman Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade
- Time: Tree lighting at 5:30 p.m., parade to follow
- Location: Town Square, Oakman, AL 35579
- Details: Celebrate the season with a tree lighting and festive parade in Oakman.
December 6
- Open Play and Pictures with Santa
- Time: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Location: Jasper Jumps Party Zone, 5100 Curry Highway, Jasper, AL 35503
- Details: $10 open play, photos with Santa, snacks, and giveaways.
- Sumiton’s Annual Christmas on Main
- Time: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Location: Main Street, Sumiton, AL 35148
- Details: Family fun with a children’s area, train rides, face painting, food vendors, popcorn, and cotton candy.
- East Walker Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Parade
- Time: 6 p.m.
- Route: From Yi Cuisine Parking Lot down Main Street
- Details: Watch this beloved parade featuring festive floats and community spirit.
December 7
- Pancakes with Santa
- Time: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Location: Blackwater Macedonia Church of Christ, 40 Windham Loop, Jasper, AL 35578
- Details: Bring the kids to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast with Santa!
December 8
- Lottie Moon Christmas Auction
- Time: Finger foods and silent auction begin at 4:45 p.m.; live auction starts at 6 p.m.

- Details: Join in the fun while supporting a good cause during this lively auction.
December 14
- Bankhead House and Heritage Center Holiday Open House
- Time: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

- Details: Enjoy holiday music, light refreshments, and performances by Anthony Sellers, Randy Stracner, and the Charles Dickens Carolers.
December 17
- Oakman FCCLA Presents The Grinch Experience
- Time: 5:30 p.m.
- Location: Oakman High School Auditorium, 10699 Main Street, Oakman, AL 35579
- Details: Enjoy a night with the Grinch, featuring pictures with the Grinch ($3), a concession stand, and a screening of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Wear your pajamas or Christmas attire. Seating is limited.

- Breakfast with Santa
- Time: 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Location: Sumiton Public Library, 416 State Street, Sumiton, AL 35148
- Details: Enjoy breakfast and photo opportunities with Santa. Space is limited.

Multiple Dates
- December 7 and 8: Jasper Pickers Christmas Open House
- Details: Sales throughout the store, hot chocolate, and snacks. Santa will be present on December 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for free photos.

- December 13, 14, and 15: Historic North Highlands Christmas Porch Tour
- Details: Residents of Jasper’s Historic North Highlands Neighborhood invite you to enjoy festive porch and yard displays during the daytime and lighted displays in the evening. This is a self-guided drive-through tour.
