Meet Rylie Erwin, a dedicated freshman at Bevill State Community College whose drive and talent make her a force to be reckoned with on the softball field.
Playing as a utility player under Coach Chris Harris, Rylie’s versatility and skill have earned her a key spot on the team.
But Rylie’s talents don’t stop with softball. Off the field, she’s excelling in the classroom, where she’s maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA.
Set to finish up at Bevill in 2026, Rylie has her sights set on a meaningful career in education. She plans to become a kindergarten teacher, drawing on her natural ability to connect with children.
“What made me want to go down the path of teaching is that I have always had a connection with kids more than adults. When I was growing up, all of the kids looked up to me, so I feel I can send them down the right path early as a kindergarten teacher,” she explains.
Congratulations, Rylie, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
