Meet Carson Gilliland, a standout senior at Oakman High School whose skills shine both on and off the field.
As a tri-sport athlete, Carson excels in football as a left tackle, defensive lineman, and long snapper under coach Ryan Hall. His talents don’t stop there—he’s also a formidable center on the basketball court and a skilled discus thrower and shot putter on the track and field team, coached by Jeff Ward.
But Carson’s abilities extend well beyond sports. Academically, he’s just as impressive, boasting a 3.99 GPA and a love for math. When he’s not dominating in sports, you might find him diving into his favorite subject or contributing as a proud member of the land judging team.
“After I graduate in May of 2025, I plan to pursue a career in electrical engineering,” Carson shares,
Carson is the son of Ric and Amber Gilliland.
Congratulations, Carson, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
