Alabama Back Institute has recently expanded its range of therapeutic services to include Red Light Therapy and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

These cutting-edge, noninvasive treatments aim to enhance the body’s natural healing processes.

Red Light Therapy (RLT)

This innovative therapy involves exposing the skin to low levels of red or near-infrared light. The light is absorbed by the cells, which in return, stimulate energy production and improve overall cellular function.

By promoting increased cellular activity, RLT supports recovery from various conditions, reduces inflammation, enhances skin health, and accelerates tissue repair and regeneration.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

This therapy requires patients to breathe pure oxygen in a chamber that is pressurized to a level higher than normal atmospheric pressure.

The pressurized environment allows the body to absorb more oxygen, which boosts natural healing processes, promotes recovery from injuries and medical conditions, and enhances cellular function and repair.

“We’re proud to offer Red Light Therapy and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Alabama Back Institute,” says Dr. Mark Prevost II. “Services such as these reflect ABI’s commitment to offering the latest and most effective treatments for pain management, recovery, and overall health improvement.”
