This morning, around 200 students from Jasper City Schools and Walker County Schools were on the Bevill State Community College Jasper Campus to register for CTE dual enrollment courses at Bevill State.
This opportunity comes on the heels of a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Bevill State, Jasper City Schools, and Walker County Schools, establishing a powerful new partnership to enhance educational pathways.
Through this collaboration, students will soon gain hands-on experience in high-demand fields like Machine Tool Technology, Welding, and HVAC.
This partnership is more than just an agreement—it’s a shared commitment to equipping our students with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
With access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources, they’re paving the way for bright futures in high-wage careers right here in our community.
Together, Bevill State Community College, Walker County Schools, and Jasper City Schools are investing in the future of Walker County!
