Meet Lauren Sims, an Oakman High School senior whose talents extend beyond the sports arena. A dedicated tri-sport athlete, Lauren makes a significant impact as a utility player in volleyball for coach Raegan Getter, the top golfer for coach Ben Panter, and a cross-country runner for coach Jenny Martin.
Lauren is not only a standout in sports but also an exemplary student. She is actively involved in the Student Government Association, serves as vice president of Future Business Leaders of America, and is a proud member of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, Future Farmers of America, The Lucky 13 Club, Peer Helpers, and serves as a school ambassador. She is also a dual-enrollment student, boasting a commendable 3.96 GPA.
As she looks forward to graduating in May 2025, Lauren plans to pursue higher education and become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Lauren is the daughter of Jeffrey and Amanda Sims.
