Meet Brookelyn McNiese, a senior at Curry High School who excels both on the cheerleading squad and in the classroom. As a flyer for Coach Andi Gibson, Brookelyn’s dedication and skill have made a significant impact.

In addition to her athletic pursuits, Brookelyn is a committed student who loves to study English.

Looking ahead to her graduation in May 2025, Brookelyn plans to start her higher education at Bevill State Community College before transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

Her goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree in medical assistance and work at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. Brookelyn’s personal experiences have fueled her desire to help others, saying, “For years, I was in and out of Children’s Hospital, and I know how terrifying it can be. I want to build relationships with my patients and their parents and do my best to help others.”
