Meet Bailey Webb, a Bevill State Community College sophomore whose talents extend beyond the sports arena. Bailey has been making an impact on the softball field as a third baseman, shortstop, and utility player for coach Chris Harris.
“If you asked me when I was younger, I would say shortstop because I love diving into the dirt for no reason. But now it’s third base, especially because you are close to the batter, and you can get into their face. Then they try to hit it down your throat, but you manage to catch it,” Bailey says.
Bailey has also proven herself to be a remarkable student, upholding a 3.6 GPA.
After finishing her time at Bevill, Bailey plans to continue her education and softball career at a four-year institution.
Bailey is the daughter of Jim and Amanda Webb.
Congratulations, Bailey, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
