Enjoy trivia night, a Mario Kart Marathon, live music, art camp, or bring home a new pet! Here is a list of every event you do not want to miss this week in Walker County.

Thursday, May 30th

  • Disney Trivia Night + Canned Food Drive

When: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Tallulah Brewing Company | 1804 4th Avenue South, Jasper, AL 35501

Join Matt Mitchell at Tallulah’s for a night of Disney trivia and a canned food drive benefitting the Central Alabama Community Food Bank. Each team to donate canned goods will receive up to five bonus points. Enjoy a fun night of food, drinks, fun, and giving back!

Saturday, June 1st

  • Mario Kart Marathon

When: 1 p.m.
Where: Gamer’s Guild | 585 Highway 78 West, Jasper, AL 35501

This event is free to attend, but participants must bring their own controller. There will be 24 rounds, and all 96 tracks will be played, so be prepared for the event to last until 8 p.m. at the latest! Sign-ups begin at noon.

  • Petco Adoption Event

When: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Where: Petco | 640 Highway 78 East, Jasper, AL 35501

Find your new best friend at this Petco adoption event! All adoption fees are $10.

  • Drive-in Car Show

When: 5 p.m.
Where: Walker County Courthouse Square

Enjoy seeing the classic cars and stay for live music by the Macabillies Band!

  • Live Music at The Main Event

When: 9 p.m.

Where: The Main Event Bar & Grill (Located in the old Quincy Building beside Hardee’s)

Welcome this new restaurant to Jasper and try some of its delicious menu items while enjoying live music by County Line, a country and Southern rock band!

Multiple Dates

  • Art & Soul Splatter Glow Art Camp

When: Monday, June 3rd – Wednesday, June 5th
Where: 1600 Highway 78 East, Jasper, AL 35504

Join Ginny at Art & Soul Studio for a three-day summer camp! This camp is open to students in Kindergarten and up; grades K-2nd from 9 – 11:30, and 3rd grade and up from 12:30 – 3. The cost to attend is $99 for all three days, which includes all art supplies and a daily snack, and tickets for individual days can also be purchased. Visit this link to secure your child’s spot!
