The Walker County Arts Alliance proudly presents the 19th Annual Art in the Park festival, a vibrant celebration of creativity within the community. Hosted at Gamble Park (across from Bevill Community College) in Jasper, AL, this event promises a day filled with art, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.

Scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Art in the Park showcases the works of approximately 60 talented artists, primarily from Alabama and the southeastern region. From painting to pottery, sculpture to jewelry, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a diverse array of hand-crafted artistry.

“Art in the Park has evolved into a cherished annual tradition,” said Tana Collins-Allred, WCAA Advisory Committee. “It’s remarkable to witness its growth over the years, both in terms of participating artists and community engagement.”

In addition to perusing the artistic offerings, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment throughout the day. Children’s activities, dance performances, and live music will be featured, adding to the festival’s lively atmosphere.

This year’s live music lineup includes performances by Jeff Parnell, Zach Baker, and Andrew Brasfield, providing a delightful backdrop to the day’s festivities.

Gamble Park, with its shaded grounds and picturesque stream, serves as the perfect setting for this cultural celebration. Attendees are invited to explore the park’s amenities, including a paved walking trail, playground, and picnic areas.
