The Dora Bulldogs kicked off their basketball season with an intense home opener on November 17, facing off against the Hayden Wildcats. Despite a hard-fought battle that unfolded until the final seconds, Dora narrowly succumbed to the Wildcats with a final score of 61-60.
Senior Camdan Hines emerged as a key player for the Bulldogs, leading the team in scoring with an impressive 13 points. In addition to his scoring, Hines also demonstrated his playmaking abilities, recording the most assists of the night with a total of three.
Sophomore Maddix Harrison displayed remarkable tenacity under the basket, securing the most offensive rebounds of the night with an impressive tally of six. Additionally, his defensive skills were on full display as he grabbed the most defensive rebounds with four.
The Bulldogs faced challenges in converting their field goals, managing to connect on 20 out of 55 attempts.
Looking ahead, Dora is gearing up for their next home game, where they will go head-to-head against the Calera Eagles on November 27 at 5 p.m. WL
