Lavish Boutique in Downtown Jasper marked its tenth year in business with a joyful celebration on Friday, August 19.

The Lavish journey began in 2012 when owner Shannon Beaty turned a corner of Hospital Discount Pharmacy into a boutique. The corner boutique soon filled the entire front end of the pharmacy, and the need arose for a dedicated building. In 2013, Lavish Boutique opened its doors next door to the pharmacy in a building that was expanded in 2016 to include Lavish Coffee Bar. In addition to the flagship store’s growth, Lavish Boutique also opened an online storefront in 2014 and an additional location in Cullman’s Warehouse District in 2018.

From those modest beginnings to the present-day mini-empire, Lavish has evolved into a thriving fashion destination, staying true to its mission of inspiring and uplifting women in every season of life.

“Although we do love fabulous clothes and trends, it is about much more than that for me and my team. My vision is to ensure that every customer is welcomed into an encouraging and energetic atmosphere, leaving them feeling radiant and beautiful,” Shannon says. “We cherish every relationship we build with each customer. Whether picking out the perfect outfit for a night on the town, a wedding, or their special occasion, it is a true joy to share those special moments with our customers.”

The 10th-anniversary celebration included sales and specials all week long. It culminated with the in-person celebration on Friday, where shoppers received celebratory refreshments and gifts. Lavish Coffee Bar simultaneously celebrated its 7th birthday and provided free Lavish Mocha, the business’ signature drink, to customers all day long.

“We want to express our sincere gratitude to our customers. We have come this far because of their loyalty and support over the last decade,” Beaty says. “We are so thankful to have the opportunity to serve our community, and we look forward to what the future holds.” WL
