LeaderSports Featured Athlete: Cylas Crumbley, Carbon Hill

Carbon Hill High School Senior Cylas Crumbley is a two-sport athlete, playing defensive end and tight end in football for coach DJ Emerson and baseball for coach Jason Tittle.

Cylas has a GPA of 3.6, and his favorite subject is history. Additionally, Cylas is involved at the Walker County Center of Technology (WCCT).

“I like being out there with all my buddies. The brotherhood part of it gets me fired up. I’d say combined with the athleticism and the physical part sparks something up in me,” Cylas expressed.

After he graduates in May 2024, Cylas plans to work for a precision design company.

Cylas is the son of Ron and Terrie Crumbley.
