Six-year-old Adeline Evans now holds the title of National American Miss Alabama Princess.

She recently competed in evening gown, runway fashion, and interview at the pageant held in Opelika, Alabama, bringing the crown back home to Jasper.

Adeline competed against 21 other young girls and faced a panel of five judges, but did not let this intimidate her.

“My favorite part of pageants is making new friends. I have so much fun, and like all the cool hairdos that I get to do,” Adeline says.

Adeline will head to Nationals in Orlando, Florida, during Thanksgiving break. She says she looks forward to a relaxing day of swimming before she competes in the pageant.

She has been competing in pageants since the age of three and has several other wins to her name. These include Miss Valley and Miss Walker County. Her love for pageants grew from her mom telling her pageants are a way to be a princess for the day.

“My favorite princesses are Snow White, Mulan, and Pocahontas,” Adeline says. “I get to be like a princess when I wear my pageant dresses.” WL
