Walker County Arts Alliance Hosting Summer Art and Drama Camps

The Walker County Arts Alliance (WCAA) is hosting Art Camp this summer, giving students the chance to expand upon their love for art and drama.

“We’re excited that the kids get a chance to come out and do an art program they may not have the chance to do in school while meeting other kids, being creative, and having fun!” says Kate Gurganus, WCAA Executive Director.

Registration for weeks 4, 5, and 6 of camp is still open; registration forms and additional information can be found at https://www.wcart.org/art-camp. All members can register their children for $125 per child. Non-members must pay $150 for the first child, and $125 for each additional child.

The schedule for weeks 4, 5, and 6 of camp is as follows:

Week 4 – DRAMA – June 26th – June 30th – Grades 5-8 meet 10 AM – 12 PM (Lorin O’Rear)

Week 5 – VISUAL ARTS – July 10th to July 13th- Grades 1-8 meet 9 AM – 11 PM (Sarah Roberts)

Week 6 – VISUAL ARTS – July 17th – July 21st – Grades 1-4 meet 10 AM – 12 PM (Tabitha Lendquvist-Grace)

Week 6 – VISUAL ARTS – July 17th – July 21st – Grades 5-8 meet 1 PM – 3 PM (Tabitha Lendquvist -Grace)
