Cordova High School senior Garrett Gilmore plays pitcher and shortstop for baseball coach Buster Howell.
Garrett not only puts his all into sports but also academics; his GPA is a 3.9 and his favorite subject is agriculture.
“My Cousin is my biggest influence when it comes to sports,” Garrett said. “He played here at Cordova and then went to Snead State Community College then Blue Mountain College.”
After he graduates in May 2023, Garrett plans to play baseball at Bevill State Community College and become a college or high school head coach.
Garrett is the son of Greg and Tammy Gilmore.
