When it comes to holiday traditions, Easter baskets are a classic favorite for children and adults alike. This year, the high-profile Kardashian-Jenner family took their Easter basket game to the next level with the help of a small-business owner from Dora, Tiffany Hill.
Hill owns Queen of My Castle Designs, a craft business specializing in hand-painted door decor. While her company typically focuses on door hangers, Hill also offers seasonal services like hand-painted Easter baskets. It was this service that caught the attention of Kris Jenner’s team in early March.
“They found me on Etsy when they searched for custom Easter baskets. One of Kris’ assistants sent me a message asking if I could accommodate a large custom order of 38 Easter baskets in time for the holiday,” she says.
Initially skeptical, Hill was soon convinced that this was a legitimate request as more details were provided.
“They sent their design requests and shipped me the materials they wanted to be used. I invoiced for payment, and within an hour, I had an officially completed payment from Kris Jenner.”
Hill and her team, consisting of her sister, parents, and painting assistants, got to work on the custom Easter baskets immediately. Each basket featured hand-painted designs and personalized touches to make them truly special. The finished baskets were delivered to the Kardashian-Jenner family just in time to be filled with treats and gifts to be opened on Easter Sunday.
Images and videos of the baskets started appearing on the A-list celebrity family’s social media pages in the early hours of April 9. Soon after, Tiffany was sharing the big news with her Facebook audience.
“The bunny is finally out of the basket!” she wrote. “I’m having a real ‘pinch me’ moment. It’s surreal to see my art have such a far reach, and so cool to see it in such a fabulous setting.”
For Hill, this opportunity to work with one of the most famous families in the world is a stepping stone toward creating a better life for her family. Queen of My Castle Designs has grown over the years from a hobby to a full-time business that led to Hill retiring from a career in nursing. With over 28,000 sales on Etsy and countless more locally, Hill hopes that her design business sees continued growth and that it helps her family flourish for years to come. WL
