The Storehouse is gearing up to host “Love Walker County” on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

Love Walker County, which aims to provide resources for individuals and families in the community, will take place at the Walker County Courthouse Square at 219 19th Street West in Jasper.

“We will have several local organizations present, as well as some statewide organizations, all of which provide free resources to those in need,” says Michael-Anne Green, Outreach Coordinator for The Storehouse. “Guests can expect free food, clothing, health screenings, pregnancy screenings, hygiene packs, health resources, bounce houses, live music, and more – all for free!”

The Storehouse faith family hopes to positively impact the community by providing essential resources that will help improve people’s lives. The event is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or race. The Storehouse encourages anyone needing the provided resources to attend and take advantage of the services.

“This is our second year to hold the event, and it allows us to love on our community and spread positivity,” Green says. “The way the community has come together over the last few years and united for change is amazing, and we want to further that mission.” WL
