Mark your calendars for a day of fun and community at the City of Cordova’s Spring Market! Presented by the Cordova Economic and Industrial Development Authority (CEIDA), this event is set to be a fun-filled day of shopping, music, and community engagement.
The Spring Market is taking place on Saturday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Downtown Cordova. The market will feature over 80 local vendors, offering a diverse array of products, including home decor, baked goods, boutique clothing, decoration flowers, and much more. Whether you’re on the hunt for a unique gift or just looking to treat yourself, there’s something for everyone.
And if you’re a fan of live music, you’re in luck! There will be non-stop entertainment all day at the pavilion, featuring Gospel acts Eagles Wings, Born to Fly, and The Stephens. Bring a lawn chair, grab a snack from one of the food trucks, and settle in for some great tunes.
In addition to shopping and music, the Spring Market has plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy. Kids will love the petting zoo and bouncy houses, while parents can take advantage of a local photographer who will be available to take Easter photos.
Animal lovers won’t want to miss the livestock swap hosted by 3W Ranch out of Adamsville. And if you’re interested in growing your own garden, be sure to check out the seed swap hosted by local homesteader Ferral Key.
Finally, if you’re interested in learning more about the ongoing economic development efforts in the City of Cordova, CEIDA will have a tent set up where community members can come by to chat and find out how they can get involved in making a difference.
“This is our first event of the season, and we had an overwhelming response from interested vendors,” said Renee Sides, Director of Economic Development for the City of Cordova. “It’s going to be a fun and exciting day, and we invite everyone to come out to shop, eat, enjoy the music, and celebrate our great community.” WL
